A Productive Summer for our Sustaining Peace Program

It's been a big summer for AC4's partnership with the Agirre Lehendakaria Center (ALC) in the Basque Country. We welcomed a delegation from the Basque and Catalan governments to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the first Basque government and discuss how our peace and polarization research can connect with ALC's K-Tool to support more participatory, democratic policymaking. Behind the scenes, our team rolled out a new and improved version of our app's back-end, and we're now teaming up with the Basque Supercomputing Center (HITZ) to keep building, with new student researchers joining the effort this fall. It's an exciting next chapter in a partnership that's spanned over ten years of shared work on peace, democracy, and social innovation.
